Surf’s Up: Our Collaboration with Bloomingdale’s and Surfer’s Healing

We designed two pieces to be sold exclusively in Bloomingdale’s stores throughout the month of April as part of a partnership with Surfer’s Healing. The organization was founded by Israel and Danielle Paskowitz after they saw the calming effects the ocean had on their autistic son, Isaiah. They now run surf camps throughout the country, aimed at helping other autistic children and their families.

This year, Bloomingdale’s is hosting pop-up shops in 10 of its stores throughout New York and California, with designers like Jack Spade, Hurley, Threads for Thought and Loomstate creating pieces just for Surfer’s Healing.

We designed two necklaces – a dumortierite and matte black onyx mala, and a surfer-chic sterling silver wave pendant, with 10% of the proceeds directly benefiting Surfer’s Healing.

We were so excited about the partnership (and also so excited for surf-weather to finally be here), that we even designed exclusive packaging for the pieces. How much do you love the surfboard cutout and wood grain?
